மே 18 முதல் 50% இருக்கைகளுடன் உள் மாவட்ட பேருந்துகளை இயக்க தமிழ்நாடு அரசு.

இயக்கப்படும் பேருந்துகளின் எண்ணிக்கையை முடிவு செய்யுமாறு சம்பந்தப்பட்ட பஸ் டிப்போக்களை டி.என்.எஸ்.டி.சி கேட்டுக் கொண்டுள்ளது.

மே 17 ஆம் தேதி மூன்றாம் கட்ட பூட்டுதல் முடிவடையும் நிலையில், மாநிலத்தில் உள்ள அனைத்து அரசு அலுவலகங்களும் 50 சதவீத வருகையுடன் செயல்பட வேண்டும் என்று தமிழக அரசு உத்தரவிட்டுள்ளது.  50 சதவீத இருக்கை வசதி கொண்ட மாவட்டங்களுக்குள் ஒரு சில பேருந்துகளை இயக்கவும் அரசாங்கம் திட்டமிட்டுள்ளது.  இருப்பினும், இந்த கட்டுப்பாடுகள் மே 31 வரை அமலில் இருக்கும்.

தலைமைச் செயலாளர் கே.சண்முகம் வெள்ளிக்கிழமை (மே 15) பிறப்பித்த உத்தரவின்படி, அரசு ஊழியர்கள் இரண்டு தொகுதிகளாகப் பிரிக்கப்படுவார்கள்.

முதல் தொகுதி வாரத்தின் முதல் இரண்டு நாட்களுக்கு முழு நாளிலும், இரண்டாவது அடுத்த இரண்டு நாட்களுக்கு வேலை செய்யும்.

பூட்டுதலின் போது வேலை செய்யாத நாட்களை ஈடுசெய்ய, வாரத்தில் ஆறு வேலை நாட்கள் இருக்க மாநில அரசு முடிவு செய்துள்ளது, அதே நேரத்தில் ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை விடுமுறையாக இருக்கும்.  ஊழியர்களுக்கு போதுமான போக்குவரத்து இருக்கும் என்று அரசு உறுதியளித்திருந்தாலும், பொது போக்குவரத்து குறித்து அதிகாரப்பூர்வ வார்த்தை எதுவும் இல்லை.

இருப்பினும், தமிழ்நாடு மாநில போக்குவரத்துக் கழகத்தின் (டி.என்.எஸ்.டி.சி) வட்டாரங்கள் மே 18-ல் இருந்து குறைந்த பேருந்துகளை 50 சதவிகிதத்துடன் குறைந்த அதிர்வெண்ணில் இயக்கப் போவதாகக் கூறியுள்ளன.  இயக்கப்படும் பேருந்துகள்.

"பேருந்துகள் ஓடி 50 நாட்களுக்கு மேலாகிவிட்டதால், பேருந்துகளின் நிலையை சரிபார்த்து அதை இயக்கத் தயார் செய்யுமாறு நாங்கள் கேட்டுக் கொள்ளப்பட்டோம்" என்று ஒரு டிஎன்எஸ்டிசி அதிகாரி கூறினார்.

மறுபுறம், எதிர்க்கட்சிகள் மற்றும் ஆசிரியர்களின் எதிர்ப்பு இருந்தபோதிலும், தமிழக அரசு 10 ஆம் வகுப்பு வாரிய தேர்வுகளை நடத்துவதில் உறுதியாக உள்ளது.  ஆதாரங்களின்படி, ஒவ்வொரு மண்டபத்திலும் 10 மாணவர்களுடன் அந்தந்த பள்ளிகளில் தேர்வுகளை நடத்த அரசு அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

மே 15 அன்று, மெட்ராஸ் உயர்நீதிமன்றம் அரசு நடத்தும் டாஸ்மாக் கடைகளில் மது விற்பனைக்கு தற்காலிகமாக தங்கியிருந்ததை அடுத்து, சனிக்கிழமை (மே 16) முதல் கடைகளை திறக்க அரசாங்கம் திட்டமிட்டுள்ளதாக கூறப்படுகிறது.

டாஸ்மாக்கின் வட்டாரங்களின்படி, வாடிக்கையாளர்களுக்கு ஒரு நாளைக்கு 500 டோக்கன்களை வழங்க அரசாங்கம் திட்டமிட்டுள்ளது.  இருப்பினும், இது தொடர்பாக அரசு இன்னும் அதிகாரப்பூர்வ உத்தரவை பிறப்பிக்கவில்லை.

TN govt to operate intra-district buses with 50% seating from May 18.

TNSTC has asked the concerned bus depots to decide on the number of buses to be operated. 

With the third phase of lockdown set to end on May 17, the Tamil Nadu government has directed that all government offices in the state should function with 50 per cent attendance. The government also plans to operate a few buses within districts with 50 per cent seating capacity. However, these restrictions will be in place until May 31.

According to an order issued by Chief Secretary K Shanmugam on Friday (May 15), government employees will be divided into two batches.

The first batch will work the full day for the first two days of the week and the second will work for the next two days.

In order to compensate for the non-working days during the lockdown, the state government has decided to have six working days a week, while Sunday will be a holiday. Though the state had assured that enough transportation would be for employees, there has been no official word about the public transportation.

However, sources in the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) told The Federal that they would be operating minimum buses at less frequency with 50 per cent its capacity from May 18. But the corporation has asked the concerned bus depots to decide on the number of buses to be operated.

"Since it's been more than 50 days since the buses ran, we were asked to check the condition of the buses and make it ready for operation," said a TNSTC official.

On the other hand, the Tamil Nadu government is firm in conducting the Class 10 board exams, despite resistance from opposition parties and teachers. According to sources, the state is set to conduct the exams in respective schools with 10 students in each hall.

On May 15, after the Supreme Court stayed the Madras High Court's temporary stay on the sale of liquor in the state-run TASMAC shops, the government has reportedly planned to open the shops from Saturday(May 16).

According to sources in Tasmac, the government has planned to issue 500 tokens a day to customers. However, the state is yet to come out with an official order in this regard.
